ACCREDITATION

 

The department has been Accredited by the NBA of AICTE since 2007 with the recent renewal of the status being for 3 years.

ABOUT MECHANICAL

 

  1. Established in the year 1998

  2. Offers a NBA accredited UG course and a PG course in Manufacturing Engineering.

  3. Start with the initial intake of 60 and now increased with 180 students for the UG course and 18 students for the PG course.

  4. 37 Nos. of well qualified dedicated faculties among that 10 of them holding doctoral degree from various reputed Universities.

  5. Recognized as Research Centre by AnnaUniversity, Chennai.

  6. Well equipped spacious laboratories with high end computing systems.

  7. Well equipped Research and Development laboratory.

  8. Department promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and taking part in sponsored research projects.

  9. Applied few patents by the faculty members.
